The American Psychological Association describes in a blog that female scientists in psychology earn 78% of what their male colleagues earn. Also, only 30% of the APA Fellows is female compared to 58% of the APA members. Moreover, more than 50% of women in STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) report to have experienced sexual harrassment.
