Following the discussions about sexual harassment within social psychology and the reported misconduct of Henri Tajfel, as also highlighted by Young and Hegarty (2019), the European Association of Social Psychology (EASP) decided to no longer connect Tajfel’s name to their lifetime achievement award. In addition, this prompted the EASP to conduct a survey among their members about their own experiences and observed accounts of sexual harassment and other unprofessional conduct in the past or present.
