Prof. dr. Vanessa Evers wrote a very frank article about sexual harassment and misconduct in the academic world, inspired by all the public statements that have appeared under #metoo in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein incidents. Making these incidents public is an important step in making people aware how large this problem unfortunately is right now, also in the academic world. This is the reason that Athena's Angels started this website. Professor Evers's story emphasizes one again that it is of utmost importance that there is a change in the current state of affairs.
