Melissa Vink is a PhD candidate at the Department of Social, Health and Organizational Psychology at Utrecht University. Her research focuses on how men and women can cooperate sustainably at work and at home. She investigates the effects of non-traditional couples (i.e., couples in which women have relatively higher status than their male partner) on work- and relational outcomes. Her research has a multidisciplinary approach, she combines both psychological and sociological research.

Melissa completed the research master Social and Organizational Psychology at Leiden University. In her dissertation, she investigated how organizations can communicate about their diversity policy, so that both employees with a minority and majority background can support the policy and feel comfortable about their organization.
